Join the 4th annual virtual race! You get to choose how far you want to go - whether it's just 1 mile or a super tough 26.2 miles! The best part? You can do your race anytime in November, at your own pace. Many people even do it all on Veterans Day to make it extra special. Some of the money from signing up goes to help veterans who are sick, hurt, or wounded. It's a great way to make a difference in their lives. Anyone can join in, so grab your friends or family and sign up for $18-$20. Plus, you'll get a bib and a medal to show off your accomplishment!
This weekend, veterans and their families can get into the museum for free to celebrate Veterans Day. And guess what? Veterans can even get a free hot dog meal at the Soda Fountain! The Durham Museum loves our veterans and wants to show our support. Come on down and enjoy a fun weekend with us!

Every year, the American Legion Post No. 1 in Omaha throws a big Veterans Day party at Memorial Park. They have a cool color guard, lay wreaths, play music, and give speeches. Lots of important people from the city and state come to show their support for veterans. Then everyone heads over to the Omaha Post on Davenport Street for lunch. It's a fun way to honor those who have served our country!

National Veterans Small Business Week is coming up from November 11-15! The Veterans Business Outreach Center is throwing a super cool event on Thursday, November 14. There will be a panel discussion from 8:30-9:30am where you can ask questions and get advice from veterans who have started their own businesses. Then, from 9am-1pm, there will be a resource fair with awesome tools and support to help you start and grow your own business. It's a chance to meet other entrepreneurs and make some new connections.
